Picture me.

Close your eyes,
picture me walking in,
I look you in the eye,
you sit still.
I take 3 steps and smile,
you wonder who I am
I walk to you, hold your head,
I tell you I don't really care.
I kiss your lips, you breathe me in.
I hold your hands,
put them around my back.
You let yourself go,
I take you around the globe.
The lights are off,
We're growing up.
You say my name,
I say "don't say"
You ask me why?
I say "I'd stay"
You ask me where?
Inside your eyes.
We fall asleep,
I wake you up,
take my kiss back,
and cover you up,

..........................I die,
turn into a memory,
you turn into a kid.
I vanish in the wind,
you learn to play again.
