Seems nobody can sense nor see
That massive storm brewing
Thunder bolts inside of her eyes
Those eyes that once held pure innocents
Offering an effortless ability to plea
Now those gems reflect more
A stomach in knots
Twisting up her insides
Strangling her anchored heart
Look in deep in the blue
You can make her cry if you try to
Living her days fearing the inevitable
Constantly wondering why
Nobody ever answers to 'why'
The evil beings that breed and take life
Take their very existence for granted
She must now live inside of her mind
To experience her hopes and kinder dreams
Silently polite, she remains for now
But look into those eyes
Existing in the world of bloody streams
A life where every child is bound to be
As even more of the absurd is absorbed
They'll reach the stench of death that comes from war
She will then be ready to accept the strife in this life
Once her silence becomes a chore
She will take a stand and speak out with life, unafraid
Maybe she will make a difference in this life
Standing on the top of the world, beside her freedom to shout
War is not right, killing those who kill, never ends the fight'

An excellent way to put it! Bravo, darkrose! :)

    excellent

    if nothing changes, nothing changes
"and then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, a girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realized what it was that had been going wrong in the world all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right and no one had to get nailed to anything. Sadly, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terrible stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever."
