so-called vindication

being right
feels so wrong
does me no good
even feels guilty
could've said more?
driven away further?
tried to find the balance
in muddled intentions
intuition?
facts?
jealousy?
all of the above?
probably...
well,
definitely.

feeling bad
despite it all
probably shouldn't
definitely shouldn't
selfishness has never been a strong suit.
give til you can't give
run til you're out of breath
wall's higher than i thought
but not insurmountable
hopefully one day
maybe one day
probably one day
definitely one day
just to smile.

i hope you're ok.

    i could try to explain it all, but that would take about 5 hours. ironic, since it took about 5 minutes to write. but even if i explained, i'm not sure of it all.

    probably the only thing i'm certain of is the caring part. :)

    see...when i read things in this forum, i have a way of turning them to relate to my experiences or something i can relate to, but i know that's not always the case (obviously). i guess we all do that...with lyrics too.

    so whatever it is, you have a good start. there's nothing wrong with caring.

    well, i think that most people experience the same emotions, regardless of whether the scenarios and circumstances are exactly the same. which is why it's so easy to relate to songs or poems. i know i've been finding that in a lot of songs lately myself.

    well, i'm just stealing from what other people have said. like what jeff said on single video theory(i think?) about music being the most pure, healing art form. or something along those lines. :)
