as I travel through space with haste
to find my love
an eternal flame consumes
my out stretched wings
it leaves me spiralling
back down toward the sea

holding my everything
I see you standing on shore

by now my core has been consumed

crashing into tidal waves
leaves no wakes
only fading memories
in this consuming abyss
into this darkness I sleep
only to awaken
and find you next
to me
