i once had a pet spaghetti monster
i molded him him and baked him
and he kept his shape
and its in the shape of a turkey
but he's just spaghetti
its annoying
because he cries to go outside sometimes
but i know and he knows that he doesn't have a bladder
or any other internal organs
but we still do it
just to go through the motions
the one day
he bit the mailwoman
and we had to go to court
thank god the jury was hung
they couldn't come to a verdict
he moved awhile back
to hawaii
with his girlfriend
i haven't seen him in 2 years
and he doesn't write
his name was wolf

    Brilliant.
It's an experience we've all been looped up in, one time or another...! :)

and really this is so good and kinda
    magical tender sweet like ohara
    and makes me wonder about
all that sauce and how hard

it must be to clean up marinara
or sausage and when he got
sad, how the sofa must've wept too.

just thinkin of him and girl (angel hair?)
    basking basaltic black sand beaches
    or brushing the Oahu skylights
    through their al-dente hair.

and you made him like a turkey
    because you were thankful
    that day, it didn't rain
    and sometimes we're too poor
    for poultry and only poetry
    will suffice.

    sometimes a noodle can have
    a brain, and a heart.

and when you named him Wolf
(not your fault) but kinda released
    that urge to bite....

and they say pets resemble their owners?

    :)
