Switching back to the old school costume
I swore i lost it when i was 18
Found again, in the leftover closet
Reeking of youth and incoherance
Put it back on and strut the town
Fuck you! Go to hell! Tossing insults like darts
Tapping the bottle
Driving drunk
Getting high in Mr. Jone's back yard
Late night fun never stops
Never stops until you realize
Stop the car
I gotta take a piss
No lights on when I get home
Tiptoe in, kiss for my mom
Lay in bed and jerk off
Eyes close easier that way
Up again, nothing to strap me down
Costume on the floor in a ragged mess
Give it a quick swat
Wrinkles disappearing
Memories fading
Back down to the forgotten closet
Piercing each sleeve with the ends of a wire
Displaying it proudly for no one to see
Door shuts to my youth
Walking back down the hallway
Breakfast time
Alarm clocks
Khaki pants
Hair Gel
Checkbooks
Morning dew
Fake smiles
