You should have taken me...
for i have lived long enough....
instead you took my daughter...
i've never had life so rough...

i hate that im alive
i'm scared of what i'll do
i cannot bring her back
and neither can you...

the depth of my sorrow
it scares the hell out of me..
i dont care about tomorrow...
her face is all i see...

i've wandered from my home...
turned my back & walked away...
now im all alone...
would she want it this way?
...It's only after disaster that we can be resurrected...
it's only after you've lost everything ...that you are free to do anything....(Fight Club)

... I'll ride the wave...where it takes me....

    This poem expresses to me the reality of conflicting emotions in beravement. I am so sorry for your loss. I am also moved by the way you express such complex and torrid felings and thoughts within such a measured and dignified form. May peace come to your heart, Thank you for sharing these words.

    thankyou i wrote it right there on the screen and forgot to title it,lol,it kinda just came out .

    the night was black when tragedy struck
    and the full moon hid and did cry...
    and i love the one that passed away
    and i loved her more than life....
