Yeah its Snowing!

I did this real fast

everyone share their snow/winter poems here



A Wintery- Shimmery Solstice

White crystal flakes,changing space
in soft inconsistent, sugary matter

Ghastly dances of chill,teasin the corneas
Optic-senses flurried in a whirl, lucent
-hail, a white scenic euphoria.

The wonderment of feel and transition
in familiar glistening frosts,achromatic color
such glorious sheaths of presentation
visible in familiar breaths, of arctic valor

A reconcile of cold inhale, and discomfort
Yet still, presence of answers in this freezing tale

This cold, our cold
A dim vibrance of shine
an Awakening draft
a pleasurefull renewal is
such sweet, warm aftermath


( i still gotta work on some stanzas but like thats ever gonna happen)

    ok another one from me

    Season 1

    snow on our mittens
    they resemble sweet tears
    and memories of laughter

    Our days in this season
    are always alive
    with hot tea and lovely
    green buttons

    Inside the cabin
    winter getaway
    has become a romantic host
    of cuddling, and sneezes

    She looks at me with her nose so red
    like a tomato, wanting to go back
    on the sleigh bed

    These cold moments
    are comfort, and ease
    We share these breaths
    that life has to please.

    Tis great Rargh!! Great sentiment in it and very crafty!!

    I love the moods you evoke with this. Colorful and dark at the same time. The final stanza is awesome.

    really, really nice work rargh. you have a wonderful sense of vocabulary, and a really great sense of "comparitive description" in your poetry. very good descriptive lines.

    snow is what comes to make everyone happy
    it brings warmth from its coldness and brings happyness to us all.
    but some people do not have snow around there homes,
    but maby if we can show them what it looks like they'll understand,
    and then the world will be a better place
