I just wanted to share this.
It's a little note I made for my son to give his friends when we moved. He's 5 and has always enjoyed the Cat in the Hat.
(which is a good thing since I'm a Dr. Seuss junkie)
I’m the Cat in the Hat
And I’ve come here to say
That our dear friend Kyle F.
Is moving away
I know that this news
Will make some of you sad
But I want you to know
That it won’t be that bad
At the end of this note
Is an e-mail address
So go ask your parents
And if they say “yes”
You can send him a message
When you've something to say
And you might have a chance
To get together and play
He doesn't use e-mail by himself of course, but it was a good way to keep in touch.
