seems to me that "punk" as it is known widely is more of a fashion now-a-days....

the moment kylie monogue dressed as 'punk' because it was cool, and the catwalks were dressing as 'punk' for the same reasons i think punk came down with a serious disease. it's not yet dead....some can still remember when it was well....but most have accepted the new fashionably (horrible) punk.


the moment 11 year olds in tops with DELIBERATE NEAT rips, saying 'VIP=very important punk' i think punk pretty much had its last final breaths of air.....


having said that there are still true 'punks' out there, who are just that way, because they are like that as a person.

now you have people being punk that aren't "punks".
the way i see it, if you do what you want and say, "well fuck 'em them" to any asshole that tries to get in your way...

that is being punk....doing things your own fucking way at your own time.
