THis is a song inspired by listening to Pearl Jam. A powerful and moving band I think you would agree.

stream of darkness

stream of darkness running through an old irrigation line
stream of darkness running through an old irrigation line
stream of darkness picking up the dirt where my feet lay
stream of darkness, stream of darkness won't dry by mid-day

pleasure comes up from the earth like the rain that falls
pleasure comes up from the earth like the rain that falls
there's a crow breaking his weight against the spring sky
fire in his eyes he laughs like a child and away he flies

pulling down the mountain heaping it on my weary soul
pulling down the mountain heaping it on my weary soul
sleeping, mumbling, praying for rain, praying for rain
stream of darkness show me why you earned your name

chorus:
white with hunger, brown with fear
stream of darkness found me here
life is a shotgun that reads
as well as it breeds, just lay me here

  • Stewardess, you have some really interesting art in your journal. I write for a online magazine called, The Muse Apprentice Guild.

Would you consider sending in some of your art work to be published on the site?
