sometimes we all hold our breath
at a single timeless moment
we are all tied and bound
seeing a memorable sight
our minds become collected
connected by a thin divine thread
focused and concentrated
the line vibrates and pulls
it begs us for sacrifice
it cries for thought
gives a glimpse of our ultimate goal
an idea and a feeling
a different kind of space
it once was before everything
everything reaches for it now
but the desease called hate
blinded by fear
driven into anger
holds us back from hopes
each moment that passes
each soul that gets trapped
the reach gets higher
and humanity left behind
to ask why
the answer that is hidden within
will someday be released
through brave love and forgiveness
carried and spoken
by a united voice
I make the shapes come much too close
I pull my eyes out
Hold my breath
And wait until I shake...

This reminds me of a Pearl Jam concert, as does some of the end

  • Love to all, past and present posters on this forum. As Yeats might say, may peace come dropping slow.
