untouched

I can sympathize
I can even relate
apart from us untouched is the fate that we create
but perhaps you can explain
or tell me how to feel
for no words now spoken
along the river which I kneel
can unpaint the picture in my mind now distraught
The memory's still hanging
the battles all been fought
All I ask is one thing
its not that hard to do
for you to come clean and speak nothing but the truth
Only with our eyes closed can we truly see

Sounds like someone came home and didn't like who they saw in bed (or some other awful imagery. while it is plain to see what has happened...you still demand an explanation, or at least to hear the offender speak of it truthfully)

I like it...at first I thought..."this seems like an excerpt" but now I think it can stand alone

Also, I've been in the offenders shoes and been confronted and I know how hard it is to admit to something that it is to painfully obvious I am guilty of........SHAME is a b1tch to get through.

after being lied to, ain't it hard to believe in any truth offered?
    like... impossible even?

You are right on the money Pasta....you can't believe anything they say. Jerram, you're actually a little bit off base. It was nothing that I witnessed, but something that I was told....Its actually quite a long story.

    yeah...

    it's too bad, really
but it's the way of things

better to bust loose and deal

if things were meant to heal up
    and understanding gained
    it'd happen
but only after the lesson of loss was fully learned

    just mho
