An undying touch of sadness

Its like there is a battle going on inside me
nearly all the soldiers slain
not a tear for those who've fallen
not a tear for those who've remained
they battle for their fallen brothers
whos faces they clearly see
the images, like aftermaths of the choices within me
The soldiers fight with anger
no limits to their rage
an undying touch of sadness for the lonely one remains
to say goodbye seems so hard
for when their eyes are closed they'll see
the faces of so many past
all these faces within me
