I see you
watching my every move
you try to infuse me with your pretencious views
but I won't buy into what your selling
No I won't hide behind all these feelings
that I'm holding
that I'm holding onto

I can decide what means more to me
is it my self indulgence or my apathy
you know they make it so easy for you
to be someone who's hands are tied

and I ask "how can you define me"
I'm not so simple
I need so many things
but I still won't buy into what your selling
No I won't hide behind all these feelings
you're pushing, you're pushing
you're pushing onto me

I can't decide what means more to me
is it my self indulgence or my sanity
you know they make it so easy for you
to be someone who's hands are tied

They want you to have it all
they want you to have it all...

Do you see what's wrong
I can't believe my eyes
you're pushing, you're pushing, you're pushing me down
My sight, I'm blind
I cannot turn you off
you're lying, stop lying, you're lying to me now
you want to see this man do something he'll regret
you have to be perfect
you want to buy my product
I can't decide what means more to me
is it the things I own or the things that own me
Only with our eyes closed can we truly see
