eyes of a child

A stepping stone
that feels alive like home
From the eyes of a child
that sees the water flow
running down the mountain
like the side of a face
a face cannot forget the look
of this beautiful place
in trying to walk
we lose sight of whats real
in trying to love
before we learn how to feel
in trying to touch
what it is we cannot see
is it only a lie or a possibility
for a child untouched
and alone on this earth
they could see no sight
no world without birth
who would hold them close
and lead them along the way
or teach them how to love
and teach them what to say
Only with our eyes closed can we truly see

  • i like it, right now things suck and i want t cry but that was beautiful
the crimson sun, in the sky to hard to live to young to die, a mother cries blood at her feet, trying to live no more to give, he is dead and no one cries, but me.

To Jessie and Fanofthemans...thank you. I wrote that a while ago....but it's been sitting in my head ever since.
