There's a lady I know
who I hold up
In my world
a fallen soul
whos feet touched the earth
From the beginning I could see
she was more, she is more
she is everything
I've never understood
how an angel such as this
could see herself as less
could see herself as his...
For a chance to let her see
through my eyes
toward my soul
I'll cast my friendship at her feet
my heart hidden underneath
Only with our eyes closed can we truly see

This is very nice. If there is an actual woman you reference than maybe you would want to give this to her.
