I am in a band from Ireland called Swimmer.We recently recorded a five track demo in our own home studio.The songs are currently listed on our website for download.I would appreciate some opinions.The songs are in real audio format so the files are all under 1mb.Post opinions here or on our guestbook.Just click the link http://www.swimmer-online.com

    Dont know what Genre youd stamp it with...i suppose its rock!!Pearl Jam are my favourite band but we dont sound like them...but we can probably see where we're comin from.The five songs are different styles.We hadnt jammed together in 4 years due to college etc and one day we all met up in my studio(house!)wrote and recorded the five songs,without trying to go for a particular sound.Its bass, drums, guitars and vocals music!!!

    Give Swimmer a listen! They're pretty funky but it ain't jazz! ;):D

    Cheers A. I appreciate the review!! Swimmer is currently on a break due to the guitarist falling in love with a girl from Norway and deciding to move there for a while!! I am currently playing with another rock band with a few guys in similar situation as myself.It is simply called "The Project". We are currently writing songs and are hoping to record them in June.As soon as we do ill send you the CD.
