Yellow Ledbetter what do you sing to me?

Loneliness, Lust – Some Confusion
I’m attracted into your mental intrusion -

Guitar paints the tale, brush in words for color
Musical picture is not for sale -

Unexplained by words alone, Powerful, Sweet, Sorrowful Guitar
Sings a story with only it’s tone –

Pull me down a road, give you my hand, here’s my soul
I beg you now don’t let it go, don’t leave me alone –
My attention is yours to own

Your guitar soothes and sears collapsed memories
Exposed fears –

Your making me a mess, removed my neat emotional dress
I get on my knees I need to confess –

Your song leaves me in a resting place
Tired but Serene, Gutted and Clean -

  • A Yellow Ledbetter Possession is what I call beautiful poetry! It captivated me from the first word to the last, somehow I felt the authors message. The author sounds like one hell of a Pearl Jam fan! Hopefully the author will submit more of her work!
