is duniya mein aaye ho to [now that you have come to this world]
ek duje se pyar karo [love each other, one another ]

within pure light
only one hour
of this pure love

    It's all Yellow, but that particular branch of yellow is Pakistani, I believe... Nusrat is a hugely famous Pakistani musician :)

    it's a beautiful song...

    i'm always amazed when jammers tell me they don't have the soundtrack to Dead Man Walking... i've also bought a Nusrat (sp?) cd and the whole thing is like a wicked joy party... amazing stuff :)

    Not being a cunt but just want to inform that the language is Urdu...its the national language of Pakistan and very similar to Hindi. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a master musician and an amazing qawalli singer. Its a shame that in Pakistan & India they are remixing (polluting) his songs and making a mockery of his art. :(

    i think his music is beautiful when pure and original

    but it's hard not to want to hear these themes woven into other stuff, too... perhaps they are not mocking it?

    did Run DMC mock Aerosmith when they made Walk This Way???

    well, if they were, they were probably more than amazed by the results....
