Are we ready, Love?
To step outside ourselves again?
The lifting up…
The forgiveness…
the Triple A clean clean sweep
that the best band-aid in the world can’t compete with.
The healed don’t kiss the doctor
The soccer kids don’t stay side-lined
They go back to play or on about their way
And the saints have shiny wings and broken hearts to show the Lord.
Hushing squeaky greaseless wheels.

Hushing squeaky greaseless wheels.
It's all yellow.

i know i'm ready, how about you?
unless you're in bed, of course
there
it's good to be present, yes?
i said that out loud right? *blushes*
perhaps they should be on zee couch?
yes
i sink so
next time i have one on the couch (which will undoubtedly be a LOOOOOOOONG time from now) - mind if i confer with you so you can help me figure out if the next move should be to the doorstep or upstairs?
i'll have to give you my number for emergency's sake :P
When I sit down to write a lot of my poems I start with what I think is a really good image but what ends up happening more often then not is the poem doesn't come out until half a page later, I think you had one of those moments, I think you should run off of that last line and see where it takes you and you might end up throwing the rest out
that'd be like throwing out a fuzzy pic of my kids!!!
just can't do it!
(j/k ~ thanks eviltoes)
