there is something about the rain
befitting kept people
to open thier umbrellas
closing off the sky

i miss the endless rain
my neatly pressed, black umbrella that spoke well of me, my wealth, and of my ability to see into the future

laying now at the bottom of the closet down the hall
the threads of one spoke broken
making it an eyesore
or an eye sword
what have you

it's never used for it's orginal intent
it's a ship in a mud puddle
a tribute to piglet and pooh
touting "tut! tut!, it looks like rain" to cloudless skies over sunscreened cheeks

my umbrella
and the rain
are lost
It's all yellow.

i love the resonating quality of the last stanza...
    and i sense
    the longing for rain,
    for grey-drenching memories,
(and maybe i'm projecting my own times of lush-rain)...
    but wow
the days so deep grey, kinda rich and melancholy
but glad, in cafes with cocoa or chamomile tea
really great books, or pad & pen
    getting supersoaked
{i, too, love to walk full out bold into the rain
    some days..and hair damp wildness
    come in dripping on some library floor...}
and splashing riding bikes in the rain....
    and yes
    the umberella
and isn't it a little interesting...in Full sun, we can miss the rain...and rain is what makes things Green
and the sun is wonderful beautiful yellow and she speaks
    sparklese....Beams....
and green things shooting up in dark rains and happymisted
and Umberella is i think from like umber shade
    and more like word-wise a para-sol , for Sun
    whereas in spanish
it would be a paralluvia, i believe
(so rusty with no reference books right here!)
    paralluvia=for rain
    so
    cosmic

    when the umberella
    and the rain
    are lost

    sorta like everything.....

and cool refs to piglet and pooh: too :)

    but

it's always raining and sunning in the

    P. Hut

    pooh rules :)
    It's all yellow.

  • I'm sorry. I hate pooh. I'd rather stick with SouthPark.
