pushing me under
keeping my head just a few inches from the surface
all the while with a smile on your face
i'm looking up at you
through the water and i see
that you're not so different
you're just like me

ropes tying me down
no matter how much i move
i can't break free
no expressions on your face
blankness turns to a grin
i see you draw the needle closer
breathing harder, starting to fight
needle breaks the skin
lights go out...

climbing walls
retractable claws
that point towards the inside
pull them in and bleed
solar flare, tornado
spinnin' round and round
sinking feeling
i can feel the earth spin
laughing and laughing
but there's nothing to laugh at
just myself
on which i wouldn't waste my breath
laying and waiting
for the sun to set
all planned out
so it'll set on me
crushing and burning
at last at peace
but the sun will not set
atleast not today
for i do not move
to even see the sun
afraid to move
afraid that if i do
everything will fall
and i won't see my sun
and i won't die
but suffer slowly
in an empty mind
