Who cannot feel the breath in her ears

Shrinks into the void

One who stares into my rippling puddles
And flashes straight teeth and plays with her hair
Who shines but when you didn’t even
Think it was there
Life is never simple you see
But if it’s really worth it
Then it shouldn’t be
Nobody is complete without
The windswept winter night
Or the blinding glare at summer’s height
