Hendrix's legacy is apparent in the success of the Experience Hendrix Tour. Initially a one-off show here at Bumbershoot in 1995, the tribute has expanded to a countrywide, 19-city swing, with a local stop Thursday at the Paramount.

This year's tour is anchored by Cox and Experience drummer Mitch Mitchell, who are joined by legendary bluesmen Hubert Sumlin and Buddy Guy!,along with Double Trouble's Chris Layton, Eric Johnson and celebrated young guitarists Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang, Mato Nanji (Indigenous) and Eric Gales.

The Paramount show also features Doors guitarist Robby Krieger, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, whose Shadow 86 is a Hendrix tribute band, and most of the veteran Bellevue hard-rock band Queensryche.

This is going to be one knock out show. Love Hendrix.
I wish we hadn't been on strike for two months- after Ticketmaster service charges, it is gonna be :(
