Suddenly, the lab coated man gave Eddie his own coat, and the singer proceeded to conduct an “experiment.” Leaning over while sitting, he began signing resonant, powerful vocals, and looping them. The sound grew into a tidal wave of harmonic noise, and given that Vedder wears a shaggy mop and was wearing a monkly white robe, it wasn’t hard to imagine that this heavenly chorus would have played the soundtrack to Jesus Christ moving the stone away from his cave after being crucified. The curtains slowly came to a close, and many thought the show was over.

Yes, an extended version that kinda morphed into Wolf.

He certainly did!! And honestly, I would have to say that I was a little surprised at how moved I was by this song. Definitely looking forward to Berkeley Night 2.

    Peace,

Not only was it incredibly powerful, it was one of the best vocal performances I have ever heard. We need bootlegs just so everyone has a chance to hear this even though it won't be the same as hearing it live.

I'd like to hear this live sometime.

  • I have been a fan for a long time but only recently in Santa Cruz, i was finally able to experience Eddie live. Arc was most certainly played and though the show was masterful in every sense, Arc for me, stood out like a beautiful gem. I have never had emotions torn from me unchecked like I did experiencing Ed perform Arc that night. I truly, truly hope that his solo shows are going to be bootlegged so that I may relive Santa Cruz's beauty, in every sense of the word.
