of a good title for this short poem? i'd greatly appreciate your suggestions.


Let me be
I am afflicted, I am broken
Not like you

Set me free
Don’t want your memory cause life is empty
Next to you

I am scared
I am afflicted, I am hearkened
Not like you

Oh, and I feel so sad because of you
And all that I cared has an ending like me and you

Remember me
Why do you tarry along the memory?
Of your misery

Just like me
Does it feel scary? Like you can’t breathe
Without me

Life is vast
Like conscious laughter in your sadness
To honor me

Oh, it won’t be long to spread my wings like a dove
And when life is scarce think of this it’s all for love
This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.

    A mirror for two
    It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.
