Maybe it’s your best-kept secret
I’m trying to justify
This lonely feeling I can’t define
Maybe it’s all-wrong but I guess
I never really had the time
To explain why…

I love you

Did you fly away to the moon?
Take a ride on a shooting star?
All the energies from space
Did they crawl under your skin?
Maybe it’s just another way
I try to figure why…

I love you
This isn't the land of opportunity, it's the land of competition.
