Superserviceable snivellers, ministers of State:
Blood mouthed, lickspittle nibblers at power's dripping plate.
"'Tis politic" to feast 'til sick on guile and smart device.
Those bones are ours, they've marrow-sucked. A politician's rise
is messy business, isn't it? For who would live on blood
but someone in a fellowship, a night ghoul in a hood?

    that's a great one finsbury, I like the two halves.. the description then the reflection. and very economic. Are you in for dublin? coming down the pub beforehand?

    I'm going to be in Ireland that week anyway, so the pub sounds like a great idea!
