The Man With All The Money

(to be sung to a harmonica, and a boogie rhythm)

That thing’s got teeth, and a tongue within
That thing’s got breath that’d strip your skin
That thing spits and gurgles, and throws out blood
That thing eats the dead of the hurricane flood

That thing's alive
That thing's alive
That thing's alive
That thing's alive

That thing wears a suit, and it wears a tie
That thing’s rotting down to its one red eye
That thing is the father of maggot and slime
That thing took you, screaming hard, time after time

That thing's alive
That thing's alive
That thing's alive
That thing's alive

That thing’s weeping pus, what a fat green tide!
That thing is the bank of desires you’ve sighed
That thing is your money man, making you cry
As you moan to the swirl of a carrion fly.

That thing's alive
That thing's alive
You're stone dead
But that thing's alive.
