Last of Days


Old man, these are your ember days, I know
When the hawks go swooping low
In the tattered twilight glow
And you’d be marching into war
For fear they’d scavenge at your door

Pale girl, these are the days light wanes and dies
Black ravens star your eyes
And hear the scream where silence lies

Horsemen, these are my last of days, so, swarm:
The crows will now perform

    Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
    As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
    And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
    He cries oh, girl you must be mad,

    Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
