You know Emma, you've made me think I should probably get myself a better Uke, something a little less mass made in China. Is something I'll think about when I can afford it!
That's great to hear, Elmo. If you spend $800+ on the Hawaii Music Supply website you get free shipping. Or if you're planning to buy from somewhere else, the HMS site has video samples for all of their ukes, so you can get an idea of what the different brands sound like. You don't need to spend a fortune on a uke though . The uke I practice the most on is my Risa uke-solid from Germany. If you have an amp, I can't recommend one enough. It is such a fun instrument to play .
I restrung my Kamaka this morning and it took me so damn long!
