I understand. I think we are all a little nervous and apprehensive, and maybe for me at least, thinking about how much time we spend here. The camaraderie has become very important to me though -- I certainly was sad thinking it could all be gone for good. We need to make a pact, that if one of us posts something that we think could be trouble, we need to pm each other to make sure that we are following the rules -- continuing to show the utmost respect for this man that we admire so much and so that the bonds that we have formed are protected.

I think everyone here wholeheartedly agrees with this sentiment, AlbertaGirl. In reading his poetry and listening to his music, I find it is impossible to have anything but complete respect for his talent, voice and compassion; he certainly deserves that. I can't believe that any poster here looks at Ed as only a pretty face. It is just sometimes, in the HEAT of the moment, brains start to sizzle and things pop out that later are regretted . . . I guess the test for me is would I be embarrassed by what I was writing if I thought he might read it.
