forgotten?
Never.
Elusive to the cat-like eye,
whispering negotiations,
I heard every word you have said.
Coma-tose,
for I feel a breeze,
in the softness of your smile,
I will not shun you,for you are forgiven-
as am I from
my sin of sterile and prudent posturing
XXX-OOO,stolen from me?
For it was for the Earth to steal.
An artist shall mame art
and an administrator-conceal truth,
but the light shines so bright,we need not speak of it,
for that is forboden, forbidden to wrestle the doubt, becoming.
I have wished to kiss some, for my passions are strong,
but a lifetime of loneliness could be in destiny's spelling, for me,
while the happy and worldly lay trodden.
For now,
I'll just recover from my upset in your unbeknownst studies of
peril and death, realizing it is just your wish to play hide-and-go-seek
with God and the Devil,
weakly choosing neither.
I'll watch the angels dance the night away,
drinking my stout, eating my words, biting my tongue,
wondering the whole time of your after-life's being.
A whisper and a thrill
A whisper and a chill

  • Cool, Ali-cat! I was really diggin' this one! Start to finish, I like the way you've worded things and especially lines like these:

    "Elusive to the cat-like eye,
    whispering negotiations"

    "for I feel a breeze,
in the softness of your smile"

"the light shines so bright,we need not speak of it"

"I have wished to kiss some, for my passions are strong,
but a lifetime of loneliness could be in destiny's spelling, for me"

and what a way to end it!

"I'll watch the angels dance the night away,
drinking my stout, eating my words, biting my tongue,
wondering the whole time of your after-life's being."

    Thanks for sharing! :)
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen

been doing research on my Catholicism,
and trying to play the part as the good girl,
ya know,"For we know not what we do"...
but as each day comes,I learn a little more about me....
    and Him.
Life is hard when youre taken advantage of,
    so BE careful.
Mortal or venial sins, whatever they are,
I sure don't want to test them out....
    Peace sister,
    goodluck with the beau.
PS...Am I invited to the wedding?
I'll drink a Guinny for you!

    Love,
