I've killed a thought
that would've brought
a thistle of sorrow
and a league of pain.
I've ended a thought
that couldve brought
years of confusion
and a question of doubt.
I've left a thought
that should've brought
pure love and attention
and true wit and charm.
I've ended this thought
because it has brought
nothing but misery
to my broken heart.
