Planning another sunrise
Made of plastic angels-
Easy to pick up so they
don't fall down and get hurt
when the party is over-
A glass of boredom for you,
a sip of Cherry for the neighbor nextdoor,
and and Harvey Wallbanger for me.
Gold angel dust doesn't seem to hurt me
when nighttime comes,
especially on the weekend,
when the circus clowns come out
and the stroke of midnite seems to bring
the mimes with their painted faces
out to dance on destiny's door.
I can cope though...
after all,
life is an adventure and the angels
have a heavenly way of picking me up at midnight
when the mimes come a-trancing at my door.
