Madness In Nightfall

We walked in madness
Delinquency following
In hardened circles of
New Jersey heat
Wine spilling out of the
colorful crystal-burgundy
as our tongues would wag
Tracing its drops to the ground
The tides would churn
the cars would beat their
melancholy baby blues
as their wheels hit the streets
And we with wild hearts
would rise above them all
for the auspicious occasion
Never to fall short,
Immeasurasbly,
Of finding that good time
on the wings of destiny's
Clear,blue night eternal.
A whisper and a thrill
A whisper and a chill
