III.

Glistening,
sugary sweet
his lips are golden
his spirit is calm
He echoes an aside
Before he speaks
Cautious and weary
of the road which he is to choose-
the road that lies ahead.
The grey elephant
brings his goodluck
in a middle eastern philosophers charm
but
he has no superstitions when it comes to God
and man.
Raising a fist is not his way,
but primary defense is not holding onto
an outward lie, either as
capturing an enemy means soon after
letting him go.
Waves encircle him
and on a sailboat to the carribean
we will someday sail and swim our days away
with the Equator's shining sun beaming down upon our bodies
as we lay arms entwined along the bow of Terpiscore.

while doting upon love,
lust, and creation.

Very enjoyable reading. But I think that IV needs to be revised to read: Wine is best drunk; whenever. Especially red. Thanks for sharing Ali.

Groove..the cops took me home tonight.My "friend" thought I was drinking and driving .,only after I got him to his destination to stay I wasnt going to stick around....and got pissed...yanked the keys out of the car...and pleaded I was "Drunk" and needed to take my bipolar medication.I was pissed so I called the cops on him.They drove me home cause I told them he was a drug addict..whhich he is.Was is in the wrong ?Help me out here....I'm the victim all the time..yet I always lose a friend or two along the way.....

hmmm....difficult situation dear. Hard to say what is right and wrong here. I'm very glad that you are OK, though, that is a very good thing. It is quite late & I am quite tired...too tired to think too much about this. I'll post more tommorow.

Question: are you really losing 'friends'?
