Light A Candle

Last night,
I lit my candle.
I lit it for you,
I lit it for me.
I lit it for the world to see.
I said a prayer
and let its glow
set the universe aflame
with
colors vivid and dreams aglow
with peace to prevail
for the friends I wish I'd know...
I lit it for love
and questions for You
to be answered by your own insights
for what remains true.
I lit it for hope
for an undying light
Within us that shines forever
That will always be in your sight.
So let the candle burn
Its flame shine bright
Light a candle today
Light one tonight.
A whisper and a thrill
A whisper and a chill

    stuck,stuck,stuck in this place,
    where nothing matters exept money,greed and race.
    wish i could change the tides of time,
    like waves they taunt but never unwind.

    the peace that i feel can never be seen,
    i wish what had happened could never have been.
    but time is a perseption that we cant understand,
    so i just lay on the beach and let winds map the sands.

    to all my friends and family.
