Sometimes

Sometimes I don't understand anything....
Politics,religion,life.
I dyed my hair black tonight,
and I'm going to the shore all weekend
to buy a gift for a friendly person to cheer him up on his birthday.

Sometimes you think you have no one.
Mark,Mike, and Mike.
I bought a pair of pants tonight,
and I'm going to wear them this weekend
so they can fall off my hips raggedly while I'm sitting with my friends.

Sometimes I wonder about love.
Dave,Tim, and Kevin.
I talked about hurt tonight,
and I'm going to see an ex boyfriend this weekend
so he can cheer me up and we can talk about the good times.

Sometimes I think about you.
Sex,love, and lust.
I thought about transcendentalism tonight,
and I'm sure I'm going to feel you with me this weekend
as I sit and think about the meaning of life.

Sometimes I wonder about God.
Mary,Jesus,and Joseph.
I talked about the sons of Cain tonight,
and I'm going to read that Bible in case it's all true
so when I die a slow death, my Catholic conscience will be clear.

Being Enlightened

Ali, the title is so Pearly and Jammy! Sometimes it's good to just sit on the shore with old pals and comtemplate the meaning of life. Then, to just free your mind of all concious thought and listen to the tide, breathe out and let all the negativity ride out and dissapate, breathe in and fill up with fresh love and smiles. It's easy to remember that there is so much simple beauty in this world to take pleasure in when you're sitting by a large body of water, I find. At any rate, I'm babbling here---I enjoyed your reading your poem, my dear!

Thank you B.E.!I expect to go down the shore this weekend and hang with some friends...hopefully sit along the delaware bay where it almost meets the ocean side.We get kinda deep.Talk about things over drinks...have a bonfire...
thats what I hope to do while going camping this weekend.There seems to be so much conflict in life for me,and drama,no wonder why I studied Theatre!
