At the Ak-Chin,
The Stilettos playing in the foreground
Lounge lizards sipping their cocktails
As I tap my fingers LOUDLY on the wooden railing
Along with the drumbeat of the mighty band playing
That well known Chris Issac song,"I Don't Wanna Fall In Love"
As we chat about racing and Peyote and the stockmarket
And the waitress wipes off yet another table while
The slotmachines ring off into nights desolation signalling off another winner or loser
And the blackjack tables are filling up the eyes with red and black and red and black and red
And the singer gets off the stage and walks by and lips hi
So I lip hi back
Wondering if I'll ever get the chance to see the Stilettos ever again
As he slips away back into
The Casino.
