Everyday you,
Everyday me.
I kiss my pillow in anticipation of the coming day.
I plan a wedding that'll never probably happen.
The days of kissing boys on the wayside after the rain
has come and gone.
I think softly of a man I've never met,
A man I don't know,
A stranger who is as captivating as when
you dripped the ice across my legs.
When I find him,
I'll let you know....
And my world will change
from blue to green,
Blasphemous again with life.
A whisper and a thrill

    i like it - it's a saturday afternoon drive through the rain in the woods...

    but, why is he captivating? is it the mere unknowing? what about this man in your head?

    Hes just captivating.Its like I can feel his prescence.And I'm trying to figure out who he is-if I know him-If I dont-and I think I dont.
    He enjoys everything I love...and he wants to take me sailing!!!!!!
    Thats all I know about him....
    and the funny thing...I have NO CLUE who he could be....hes just my dream man.:)

    I hope you don't mind, but I've been inspired to write a poem from your poem:

    Everyday
    was divided
    into a length of 24 hours
    until now,
    and everyday
    starts after 5pm,
    and one day
    everyday
    will be one day closer
    to the last one.

    I will not ask her
    sitting so far away
    what is worth waiting for.
    I will accept her gifts
    of blankets and cookies.
    I will only look forward to today.
