The Sweat of Sex

I see the spot
where the tree was
and I'll smoke cigarettes
in my basement,
and say hi to you ,groove.
I won't go to that republic show
cause mike never calls
and hes suppossed to be my friend.
Why did he try hooking up
with me?
I didnt ask for it...
I love spaghetti,
hes my friend.
I wonder why the leaves
are rolled for cigars
and why Bill and jim had to die,
and if jimmy was alive...
"What Would He Say?"
The trees are now my cabinets.
I want a house made of cement,
or a boat made of fiberglass,
or a car made of metal
that I can live out of.
To hell with unfriendly people
who live in the mature light
of loneliness,
or the sweat of sex.
I could bear nothing more than
to be with you.

    I don't know why, these two lines stood out. This might be my favorite of yours that I've seen
