Would you come with me?
Millions of years under,
Hundreds past.
For we shall climb
among the ruins,
with bones
and burial dances
among us.
Walking the tides of change-
old mixed with new-
under the noonday sun,
under the nighttime moon.

(adev to him.)
A whisper and a thrill
A whisper and a chill

I like this one Ali. It has a mysterious feel to it.
    These are my favorite lines.

    I wish.

    Nice poem, Ali.

One day, one day, I'm going to climb up Machu Pichu. I had a really strange dream about Machu Pichu in 1997. I always thought it was spelled Manchu Pichu, but in my dream it was spelled correctly. That's when I knew something was wacko. I looked up ruins/monuments in a dream book, and it referenced travel. I visited Europe for the first time ever within 3 months of that dream, and I was "visting" many places because I was starting to use the world wide web for research.

    Bib...

i really want to as well, but the thought of it happening seems so foreign.
In all reality, one would need a flight to Mexico City, etc. and one good guide.
I'm sure I'll never see it,but my mind and a good series on channel 12
can take me there!I'm just a dreamer.:)I hope you make it there though...

    well be and bib...
once I decide if I'm going to apply for this govt position or go back to school...I'll let you know if maybe the girlies,or everyone, can somehow swing a trip to machu.I've heard my sociology teacher talk so much about the Yuchatan Penisula..i've just been dying to hit the south-west area of the continent. He might be up to taking a group there,he never talked about machu. It might be a few thousand, but worth the money. It might take me a couple of years, maybe sooner, but lets try to keep each other PMed about this feat...and invite whoever else wants to go....
    Love yas,
