I'm tired with gifts being bought,
and feelings being hurt,
and marriages being ruined,
and religions being destroyed,
drugs being bought,
kisses on the wayside,
sex in sweaty rape beds,
men and women being entrapped
by crooked cops and politicians,
screwing it all up all the time
while believing in only a cross,
digesting the latest trend on TV,
and swallowing it all down foolishly,
all the time,
whilst trying to love you.
