I've walked these streets,
on my own.
Alcoholics as friends,
alcoholics in home.
A death-wish for my children,
A death-wish for my children,
Left for me,
only to conquer their city, and destroy
their words.
Driven to the edge of pain, as demons
come and go.
For loss is only, loss of God.
I have you,
and that's all I need,in my humble abode
by the sea,and I still have Him,
And my place in a wooden pew.
