Help

We're all dying everyday.
Aches and pains
Drinking and smoking cigarettes
Love and relationships.
Cover me up with a big bandaid.



For Friends And Some On Sunday

Colored bathing suits
on children and parents
and adults.
Flesh showing,
no one batting an eye.
Utopia on the beach
while boats pass by
just to watch the sunbathers.



Texas

I stopped at every Shell gas station
from Jersey to Texas,
to get back a memory.
As I lay on white sheets,
covered with cigarette ashes,
staring at the sky painted dome above me,
I was thinking I was in Heaven.
Questions and memories
of the love I fell for you here and now.



The Wave

It carried your soul
so far away,
I know.
And you fell asleep and
dreamt of God.
Awaking to a new life,
as I have.
I slept in the bed,
seeing Him in
my own wave.



Roses

Roses pale
In the light of dawn
While the sea lasts
and flows for eternity.
Though roses hold their beauty,
The sea shall forever shine.



God

For God is one,
His tribes,
many.




Stillness

White foam and sand meet.
Waves crash,
Delightfully we scream,
And the sea moves into a silent lull.


Waves

The waves come in sets of ones and twos.



Seeing God

Let me talk about loneliness
And how I can't drink anymore
And how I can't do cigarettes much longer
And how boring I'll be and not even my friends or family
want to be around me
And how death slowly creeps up on me
(They never did)
And how no one really understands
And how I think I'll never marry
And how they seemed to die on me
And how they all wander into Heaven
And how I fear I'll outlive you all
And how I don't want to get that certain feeling and do something about it
And how I fear I'm dying too young
And how I think I died and came back
And why God would send me back through Christ
And how I never want to lose you all.

Love

I love you,family and friends,for letting me write about our wondering,
wandering lives.
