You Gave Me Love

You bore me.
You held me.
You loved me at the same time.
You washed away my tears on a white unbloodied cloth.
You watched me die and come back to life when they had my death in their hands.
You watched me try to seek revenge,
realizing I could never go to it.

A fire by the bay
and a radio tune to carry
decibles of electric sound
to the masses in morse code.
I heard the dolphins cry for me
as I woke awake and in the early morning
to see them swim to keep the shore in their sonaric beat.
I heard you die from miles away and cried for three years straight,
while the children played in heaven with the angels in God's safety.
I can't go to worship in the house,but I can sure worship in the light of the son.

Reminds me of the little Native American poetry I've read - exaggerations, but at the same time...perfectly fitting.
