    italy and the gorge made it to NJ yesterday. DC got here today. i also got the confirmation email for lolla today.

    one end of the DC tube was crushed, and there is some damage to the poster. :( luckily, it's nothing too serious. there are some creases in the back, and the resulting impact on the image itself is very minor. the poster is still suitable for framing... thankfully.

    it's disappointing though, especially after the long wait for DC to finally be sold. and this isn't the first time it's happened to me. my hawaii ames poster also arrived in a crushed tube, and the damage to that one was fairly severe. it kinda sucks that my two mail-damaged posters are also my two most irreplaceable. i can't afford the ebay prices for either of them.

    i plan on going to the post office at some point in the next few days to ask them what the deal is, but i'm 100% certain that it'll get me absolutely nowhere. i might send an email to 10c to let them know about the problem, but i'm not sure that there's a whole lot they can do. it's out of their hands once it's been mailed.

    but it seems to me that this is becoming a fairly common problem with posters. for future orders, i'd be willing to pay more for shipping if there was some way to avoid this. these posters are so hard to get to begin with, i think it really sucks that the USPS has created an additional variable.

    sorry for ranting... i'm just pissed off at the fucking postal service right now. :mad:

    I got my DC in Pittsburgh yesterday 11/8. And it looks incredible, just like it should!!!!

    On November 1st they had a poster sale between 5-7 Eastern Time. The DC poster went up around 6:20-6:30, I believe, and it was sold out in like two minutes

    They announced the poster at like 11AM that morning
