Your spirit lies before me

A Love I've never known before
Knocking on my cellar door
Leaving me with nothing to hide
Just before I prepare to die

This lovely love I shared with you
Slowly tormented
Slowly broken
Lost under the surface of my own skin
Underneath, the winter clothes bin

Do you not see me
Or my crying abandoned eyes
I'm sick of these lies
I'm sick of the fights
Countless days
With sleepless nights

Tolerance is slowly cutting as my rope
The rope that holds me
And keeps me here
Nothing left
Now I have wept
And your spirit lies before me

The story ends so casually
With nothing left
But you and me
It's not that long
Until you'll be gone
And your spirit lies before me
